The Hampton Roads REALTORS® Assocation has established a Young Professionals Network (YPN). Open to all ages, YPN serves a growing group of young, career-minded real estate professionals who want to serve the community, educate themselves on the latest technology and industry practices, and network with fellow REALTORS®.
HRRA's YPN group is the first in the state of Virginia and among only six other local and state YPN chapters. Created from NAR's REALTOR® magazine annual issue of "30 under 30", NAR has recongized the need to reach out to the younger real estate professionals who want to stay abreast of the latest tools and resources. Did you know there are over 400 REALTORS® in the local association under the age of 35?
Did you know that the average of a REALTOR® is 52 and the average first-time homebuyer is 30 years old, according the 2008 NAR profile of Homebuyers and Sellers.
